People have been urged to "avoid the area" as roads are closed due to a flat fire in Sydenham.
London Fire Brigade was called to Dacres Road at 3.40pm today (August 20) as a 10th floor flat had caught fire alongside part of the building’s roof.
One man, who is currently being treated by ambulance crews, was rescued from a flat through an internal staircase.
10 fire engines and around 70 firefighters were at the scene.

Residents were advised to keep their windows and doors closed as the fire produced a large amount of smoke.
Road closures are still in place and people have been asked to avoid the area.
More than 20 calls were made to the Brigade’s Control Officers.
Crews from Forest Hill, Beckenham, West Norwood, Bromley, and other fire stations were at the scene.
The fire was under control by 5.16pm but firefighters will remain at the scene to extinguish hotspots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
