The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Monday, August 19, 2024:
DANNY JANES, 39, of Swithland Gardens in Eltham, admitted stealing 22 bottles of Ad Blue exhaust fluid from Shell on Shooters Hill Road, Blackheath on March 10. Janes was given a one-year community order and was ordered to pay £800 compensation. Janes was also disqualified from driving for six months.
JUNIOR REID, 53, of Inglemere Road in Forest Hill, admitted assaulting a man and a public order offence on June 29. Reid was jailed for 26 weeks as magistrates noted it was an “unprovoked attack of a serious nature”.
KEVIN O’LOUGHLIN, 43, of Kale Road in Erith, admitted drink driving on Henhurst Road, Gravesend, on July 15. O’Loughlin was fined £440 and disqualified from driving for 20 months.
KENNETH DOYLE, 50, of Ennersdale Road in Hither Green, admitted vehicle interference going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle, namely carrying a chisel, screw driver and hammer, on Downham Way on July 20. Doyle was jailed for 16 weeks as he has a record of similar offending.
DAVID DUCE, 30, of Rectory Lane in Lyminge, admitted drink driving on Flamingo Park, Bromley, on July 5. Duce was given a 12 week sentence suspended for one year. He was also disqualified from driving for 30 months.
