A man has been sentenced after an XL Bully attacked a woman in Brockley.
On July 23 last year a woman was injured by an out of control XL Bully on Cranfield Road.
Aaron Ormsby, 24, was charged with being the owner or person in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control causing injury.
After pleading guilty Ormsby, of Cranfield Road, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday (August 19) for sentencing.
A bench of magistrates gave him a six month custodial sentence suspended for one year.
They also ordered that the XL Bully be destroyed.
Ormsby was ordered to pay £3,750 compensation to the victim and £250 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
