More than 100 young performers will be taking to the Orchard West theatre in Dartford this summer to take part in Bring It On the Musical.
The show will take place from Friday, August 23, to Sunday, August 25, 2024, with performances scheduled at 7pm, 2pm, and 1pm.
Featuring a sassy script and fresh new songs from Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In the Heights) and Tom Kitt (Next to Normal), Bring It On has become an immediate fan favourite.
The story follows Campbell Davis, a young cheerleader who dreams of leading her squad to victory at the National Cheerleading Championships.
After being reassigned to a school without a cheer team, she befriends the dance squad and turns them into fierce competitors.
Responding to concerns over RAAC concrete in The Orchard Theatre's roof, which led to its closure in September 2023, Dartford Borough Council (DBC) and Trafalgar Theatres joined forces to establish an innovative temporary theatre venue in Dartford.
Named Orchard West, this venue is fully operational and boasts an enclosed performance space with seating for 1,000 people.
It is equipped with comfortable seating, heating, cooling systems, comprehensive accessibility features, and complete backstage and front-of-house facilities, including indoor toilets and bars.
Ticket prices range from £10 to £20, with a possible transaction fee of up to £3.95.
