A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman has died following a fatal stabbing in Dartford.
Police were called to a disturbance at a property on Henderson Drive at approximately 6.50am on Saturday, August 17.
Officers responded alongside paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Upon arrival, they found a woman with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a man in his 20s who is believed to have been known to the victim, was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
Police have since launched a murder investigation, and detectives remain at the scene conducting extensive inquiries.
Henderson Drive has been cordoned off between Marsh Street and Cavell Crescent as investigations continue, leading to some traffic disruptions in the area.
Kent Police are appealing to the public for any information that could aid their investigation.
