A mum from Abbey Wood charged at and pushed a police officer while shouting “f***ing take me” at a far-right demonstration.

Kelly Wildego, 41, was part of a gathering of around 700 people in Whitehall on the evening of July 31, following the fatal stabbing of three children in Southport.

Prosecutor Johnathan Bryan said the demonstration became hostile with objects being thrown at police officers.

The officer who was assaulted spotted Wildego in the crowd as she shouted at police: “You should all be f***ing ashamed of yourselves. You’re a bunch of f***ing c***s.”

Mr Bryan said Wildego then backed into the crowd before running at a police officer shouting “f***ing take me”.

The officer and a colleague pushed Wildego back but she then ran at him again and pushed him, Mr Bryan said.

At Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday (August 16) Wildego, of Harrow Monorway, pleaded guilty to both offences.

Mr Bryan urged Judge Louisa Ciecióra to send the matter to a crown court for sentencing.

Judge Ciecióra told Wildego: “I do not consider that this court has sufficient sentencing powers. I will commit it to Inner London Crown Court.”

Wildego was granted bail to attend Inner London Crown Court for sentencing on Monday (August 19).
