A busy bus station in London is set to close on weekday nights until early September 2024.
Canada Water bus station is set to face weekday night closures from Monday (August 19), so TfL can carry out improvement works to the canopy at the bus station.
The bus station will close at 8pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights and reopen at 5am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings, until early September this year.
It will remain open throughout Saturday and Sunday nights.
During the closures, buses will not serve the bus station, except for routes 1, 199, 225 and C10, which will continue to drop off at their normal last stop inside the bus station.
Access to Canada Water Tube and London Overground station is not affected.
To board any bus, or alight any bus except routes 1, 199, 225 and C10, use alternative nearby stops on Lower Road or Surrey Quays Road.
