Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains on August 17 and August 18.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

Buses replace trains between Orpington / Otford and Sevenoaks / Tonbridge (Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18)

Engineering work is taking place between Orpington and Tonbridge, closing all lines.

Southeastern:

Saturday:

Hastings Line: Services between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be retimed and run non stop between London Bridge and Tonbridge, using an alternative route via Redhill.

On arrival at Tonbridge a portion of coaches will be attached / detached to run between Tonbridge and Ashford International.

Trains which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Tunbridge Wells will not run.

Paddock Wood line: One train per hour will run between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Maidstone East / Canterbury West.

On arrival at Ashford International a portion of coaches will be attached / detached to run between Ashford International and Dover Priory.

Passengers travelling to / from stations between Tonbridge and Ashford International, are asked to use trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings which will have a portion of coaches attached / detached at Tonbridge to run between Tonbridge and Ashford International.

Maidstone East line: Services which usually run between London Charing Cross and Maidstone East will not run.

Passengers are asked to use the diverted London Charing Cross to Ramsgate services which will stop additionally at Swanley, Otford and Maidstone East.

Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will stop additionally at Eynsford and Shoreham.

Grove Park Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks via Grove Park will only run between London Charing Cross and Orpington.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Orpington.

Sunday:

Hastings Line: Services between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be only run between London Bridge and Hastings and run non stop between London Bridge and Tonbridge, using an alternative route via Redhill.

Paddock Wood line: One train per hour will run between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Maidstone East.

On arrival at Ashford International a portion of coaches will be attached / detached to run between Ashford International and Dover Priory.

Additional trains will run between Tonbridge and Ashford International.

Maidstone East line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International will stop additionally at Eynsford and Shoreham.

Grove Park Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will only run between London Charing Cross and Orpington.

Medway Valley Line: Trains between Paddock Wood and Strood will be retimed to run 10 minutes later.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

Saturday and Sunday:

  • Orpington and Tonbridge calling at Sevenoaks only.
  • Orpington and Tonbridge calling at all stations.

Thameslink:

No trains will run between Bickley and Sevenoaks.

Trains that usually run to / from Sevenoaks will be amended and retimed, and will run to / from Orpington. These trains will additionally call at Petts Wood.

Replacement buses will run between Otford and Sevenoaks.

Passengers can use your tickets on Southeastern services between Bromley South and Otford.

Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes (Sunday, August 18)

Engineering work is taking place between Ladywell and Hayes, closing all lines.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Hayes will not run.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

Lewisham and Hayes via Beckenham Junction calling at all stations.

No trains between London Victoria and Lewisham (Sunday, August 18)

Engineering work is taking place between Nunhead and Lewisham, closing all lines.

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run. Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Ticket Acceptance:

Passengers can use London Underground between Victoria, Charing Cross, Embankment, Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge at no extra cost.

No Southeastern services at London Cannon Street or via Greenwich (Sunday, August 18)

Engineering work is taking place between London Cannon Street / London Bridge and Greenwich, and closing some of the lines through New Cross used by services to and from London Cannon Street.

Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, St Johns and New Cross will be closed.

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich.

Bexleyheath line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not run.

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will not run because of further engineering work.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich calling at all station.
