A horror three days across London has seen a shocking four people shot and two stabbed with two of the victims left dead.

This only includes incidents that Newsquest London is aware of and has reported on.

The incidents unfolded between August 5 and 7 in Orpington, Bethnal Green, Isle of Dogs and Maida Vale.

Information about each incident is from the Metropolitan Police.

Man, 23, dies after stabbing in Isle of Dogs

A 23-year-old man has died after a stabbing in the Isle of Dogs.

Abdul Jalloh was found injured in New Union Close at 4.15pm yesterday on August 5.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

A male was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains in custody.

Acting Chief Superintendent Brigid Beehag-Fisher for Tower Hamlets and Hackney, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the young man who has lost his life.

“Police received a number of calls from concerned members of the public when the victim was found yesterday afternoon, but we think there are a number of other people who saw what happened who have yet to speak to us.

“My colleagues in our homicide team are working to establish exactly what happened and it’s incredibly important that they hear from those people.

“Additional patrols will be conducted in the area while my officers will remain at the crime scene.

“I urge local people to speak to them and share information that they think can help us bring to justice whoever was responsible for this terrible violence.”

Man in his 20s taken to hospital after stabbing in Maida Vale

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a stabbing in Maida Vale.

The incident happened in Elgin Avenue at 6.20pm on August 5.

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

His condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Man in his 30s dies after shooting at park in Bethnal Green

A man in his 30s has died after a shooting at a park in Bethnal Green.

The incident happened at Weavers Fields in Wilmont Street just before 8.30pm on August 6.

Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead shortly after,

He has not yet been formally identified but detectives believe they know who he is and have told his family.

No arrests have been made.

Three teenage boys in hospital after triple Orpington shooting

Three boys were taken to hospital after a triple shooting in Orpington.

Officers were called to reports of a man shot in Otlinge Road at around 10pm on August 7.

London Ambulance Service crews also attended and found an 18-year-old boy injured.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition was non-life threatening.

Police carried out all relevant enquiries and found that the shooting took place in Yalding Grove.

While officers were carrying out a search of the area, two 14-year-old boys were also found with gunshot wounds.


The pair were also taken to hospital where their conditions were assessed as non-life threatening.

Detective Inspector Raymond Sekalongo from Trident said “Tackling violent crime in London remains our absolute focus and reducing shootings is key to that.

“We understand that this incident will cause concern within the community.

“We want to reassure you that we are carrying out fast-time enquiries to ensure that any suspect is apprehended.

“I know that this may cause fear within the community, which is why I will ensure that officers are present within the area to listen to any of your concerns.

“Please do approach them if you need to, they are there to support you.”
