Four anti-ULEZ activists have been charged with harassing Sadiq Khan at his family home.
The four are charged following a gathering said to be in the vicinity of the Mayor of London’s home in Tooting on April 6.
They are:
- Martin Whitehead, a 61-year-old plasterer from Beckenham
- Nicholas Arlett, a 73-year-old retired builder from West Wickham
- Lloyd Dunsford, a 64-year-old from Bexleyheath
- Alison Young, a 50-year-old former teaching assistant from Old Windsor
The charge sheet states that they are accused of harassing Mr Khan within the vicinity of his home.
They will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday (August 9).
The incident took place following the expansion of the ULEZ across all of Greater London, seeing all drivers of non-compliance pay a daily fee of £12.50 to drive within the zone or face a fine.
