Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains on August 10 and August 11.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

Engineering work is taking place in the Dartford area, closing some lines

Late Saturday night / Early Sunday morning (August 10 and 11)

The 12.30am Charing Cross to Gravesend service will not run. 

A replacement bus service will run between Dartford and Gravesend, calling at all stations.

Sunday morning (August 11)

The 7.05am Dartford to Charing Cross via Sidcup service will start at Crayford.

A replacement bus service will run between Dartford and Crayford, departing earlier than usual at 6.53am.

The 7.02am Dartford to London Victoria service will start at Barnehurst.

A replacement bus service will run between Dartford and Barnehurst, departing earlier than usual at 6.50am.

Thameslink

Late Saturday night / Early Sunday morning (August 10 and 11)

The 1.24am Dartford to Gillingham service will not run.

A replacement bus service will run between Dartford and Gillingham.

Sunday morning (August 11)

The 6.36am Gillingham to London Bridge service will terminate at Strood.

A replacement bus service will run from Strood to Dartford.

The 8.18am London Bridge to Rainham service will start from Dartford.

You can use your tickets on Southeastern services between Dartford and London.

Buses replace trains between Faversham and Ramsgate until 8am (Sunday, August 11)

Engineering work is taking place between Ramsgate and Faversham, closing some lines.

Until approximately 8am, services between Ramsgate and London Victoria will start from Faversham.

Accessible buses will run between:

Ramsgate & Herne Bay calling at all stations.

Herne Bay & Faversham calling at all stations.

Alterations to late night and early morning Sunday services via Dartford until 7.30am (Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11)

Passengers can use your tickets on Southeastern services between Dartford and London.

No service between Blackheath and Charlton (Saturday, June 1 - Sunday, August 11)

Engineering work is taking place between Blackheath and Charlton, closing the lines for 10 weeks.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Dartford via Blackheath and Charlton will instead run via Greenwich, calling additionally at Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park.

  • London Bus routes 89, 54, 380, 202 & SL3.
  • Docklands Light Railway between Greenwich and Lewisham.
  • Thameslink services between London Bridge and Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal.
