Police have been given extra powers in Abbey Wood following reports of fights being planned.
Inspector Keen authorised a Section 35 dispersal zone from 12pm today (Wednesday, August 7) through to 11.59am on Friday (August 9).
Officers will be patrolling the area to prevent anti-social behaviour after hearing that young people were planning fights in the area.
Bexley MPS tweeted: “Section 35 Dispersal Zone Authorised - Insp Keen - Start 1200 07/08/2024 to 1159 09/08/2024.
“Covering the below highlighted area.
“Reports of young people planning fights in this location. Your local officers will out on patrol preventing ASB. CAD 3163.”
