Danson Splash Park will be temporarily closed for maintenance work tomorrow (August 7).
The popular attraction, located in Danson Park, Welling, will reopen on Thursday, August 8. The council has apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.
Typically, Danson Splash Park is open from April 1 to September 30, welcoming visitors daily from 10am to 4pm.
Situated in the expansive 185-acre Danson Park, the splash park offers a colourful and engaging play area for children.
The park also features a boating lake, an adventure playground, and a cafe, providing a variety of activities for families to enjoy.
Danson Park is a gem in Bexleyheath, with several gardens to explore, including the English Garden, the rock garden, the peace garden, and the bog garden, which serves as a nature reserve.
Visitors can take advantage of the many picnic areas with tables provided throughout the park.
There are toilets located at the children's play area, and a pub housed in a converted stable block offers refreshments.
Parking costs £3.50 at weekends and on bank holidays from April to September.
Danson Park, a Grade II listed park and gardens, continues to be a favourite destination for both locals and visitors.
