A brand new Lush store is set to open in The Glades in Bromley this month with the first 100 customers to receive free gifts.

Following what has been dubbed a “long-awaited relocation”, The Glades is set to welcome its latest store opening, with Lush Cosmetics opening a brand new store in the shopping centre on August 16.

The new store will be located within the former Monsoon and Accessorize unit on the ground floor with 118 square metres of space.

Customers who visit on opening day will receive a free Toby’s Magic Cow bath bomb to take home.

In addition, the first 100 customers will receive a “welcome surprise” from a range of best-selling products, including a bath bomb, shower gel and samples of Lush’s best-selling products.

The company, first opening in 1994, is well known for selling fresh and handmade cosmetics ranging from bath and shower products to skincare and haircare.

The brand is also known for its campaign work surrounding human and animal rights, particularly on fighting against animal testing with a cruelty free product line.

The additional space will also allow for more flexibility for party bookings, with Lush offering a range of parties where children can try their hand at making their own bath bombs and learn more about the products, with prices starting from £25 a person.

Speaking on the relocation, store manager Tara said that the new store would enable the Lush Bromley team to “amplify” various charitable projects and community work through campaigns and events that would “give back to the community.”

Store Manager Tara said: “This expansion will of course also bring the long-awaited desire of our customers for an extended range of products, and we’re as excited as they are for more Lush on our doorsteps.

“Our store will continue to highlight all the incredible campaigns Lush are involved in and as always, give back to the community.

“Since my time as store manager, we have actively collaborated with local charities to raise awareness and support their remarkable work in animal, human, and environmental rights.

“The larger store will enable us to further amplify these impactful initiatives through campaigns and exciting events.”

Lush has also advised customers to expect queues during the initial opening, however customers who are unable to queue for health reasons are advised to speak to staff on the day.

Centre Director of The Glades, Mark Haynes, said: “We are thrilled to see Lush expanding into a larger unit here at The Glades.

“Their commitment to providing high-quality, ethically sourced products aligns perfectly with our values, and we are excited to support their growth.

“This move will undoubtedly enhance the shopping experience for our visitors, offering them an even wider selection of Lush’s beloved products.

“We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Lush and witnessing their ongoing success at The Glades.”

The new Lush store will be located at Unit 15 of the Glades opposite The Apple Store and will be open on Monday - Saturday between 9am and 7pm and Sunday from 11am - 5pm.
