Thames Water has confirmed that there are water issues in postcodes across the Southwark area.

Thames Water has apologised if people are experiencing low pressure or no water in the SE1 or SE17 postcodes.

Engineers are now on site investigating what’s gone wrong.

Thames Water is one of the UK's largest water and wastewater services provider.

Serving more than 15 million customers in London and the Thames Valley, the company manages the region's water supply, treatment, and sewage disposal.

Once professionals have located the problem and assessed what’s needed, Thames Water will update on the website what it is doing to fix it.

“We’ll also estimate how long it might be before your water is back on," a Thames Water spokesperson added.

Thames Water has confirmed it is “working hard” to get things back to normal as “soon” as it can.
