No arrests have been made following the stabbing of a man in his 20s in Woolwich yesterday.
Police were called to Powis Street at 6.37pm on Friday (July 26), in response to reports of a stabbing.
Officers, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS), attended the scene and found a man in his 20s with stab wounds.
He was taken to the hospital, where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening.
Today (July 27), police confirmed that no arrests have been made.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called to Powis Street, SE18, at 18.37hrs on Friday, 26 July to reports of a stabbing.
"Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS).
"A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds. He has been taken to hospital, his condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
"There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing."
