There is no more wholesome a way to spend a weekend than to trot to a cute café and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a bite to eat.
Everyone has their favourite, local café or the hidden gem that they rave about.
So, if you don’t have a favourite spot already and need some inspiration this weekend we have compiled a list of the best cafes in Bromley according to Tripadvisor 2024.
Unico Gelato and Caffe
Unico Gelato and Caffee is a spot that sells not only coffee, but also gelato, cakes and pastries.
So, while an iced coffee is a great way to cool down, for anyone who’s not a fan of coffee you can always grab them an ice cream instead.
The Drawing Room
Based in Crofton Road, Locksbottom, The Drawing Room takes the second most popular spot in Bromley for a coffee.
It’s most well known for it’s afternoon tea.
One Tripadvisor reviewer said: “Amazing sandwich and cake left me happy (and stuffed!)
“The coffee atmosphere and staff were excellent. I was lucky to get in as people were queueing outside.”
The Lavender House
The Lavender House opened back in 2009 ad described itself as “Sundridge Park’s cute and cosy, award-winning, family friendly, independent coffee shop, tea garden and play area”.
It’s based in Plaistow Lane and reviewers on Tripadvisor rave about the afternoon tea and the sandwiches as well as the coffee.
The Rosie Lee Café and Deli
The Rosie Lee Café and Deli can be found in Homesdale Road and is the fourth most highly rated cafe in Bromley, with four and a half stars.
A Tripadvisor reviewer said: “I had a perfect afternoon catching up with old friends over afternoon tea, where you are made especially welcome by Elspeth and Jackie and made to feel like friends with them too.”
Buddy’s Café
Buddy’s Café also has four and a half stars on Tripadvisor with customers praising the spot for its friendly service and made-to-order food.
It offers takeaways and is vegetarian friendly.
One Tripadvisor reviewer said: “My wife and I use Buddy's when we visit family in Bromley.
“It is the best place to eat for miles! We always receive a wonderful, friendly welcome from the team, in particular Tracey.”
