“Ponds have returned to normal after a severe drought in 2022.

“There is a nice little cafe at the entrance.

“The council have now installed a bird seed dispenser (for a charge) but bring your own cup or bag.

“There are lots of ducks, geese but still waiting for the swans to return.”

While the café at Priory Gardens is a lovely place for a bite to eat and a coffee, there is also Pato Lounge which is a much-loved spot for locals.

The spot is child-friendly, dog-friendly and also offers vegan and vegetarian menus in addition to the regular menu.

Pato Lounge has a massive, varied menu with brunch options, flatbreads, burgers, mains, salads, tapas and more.
