Drivers around Dartford can expect 11 National Highways road closures in the upcoming weeks.

Motorists could face hold-ups lasting between 10 and 30 minutes.

National Highways maintain motorways and major A-roads, so smaller road shutdowns are not on their schedule.

Here is the list of closures – with some already in place and some upcoming.

• A282, from 10pm July 21 to 5am July 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm July 1 to 5.30am August 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A2, from 12.05am June 17 to 12.05am August 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound and westbound, Off network, temporary speed limit reduction from 50mph to 40mph. 24/7 for this period.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A2, from 8pm July 22 to 6am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 both directions Bean to Tollgate, slip road and diversion for bridge works

• A13, from 10pm July 24 to 5am July 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30 roundabout and approaches, Lane closure for traffic signal replacement works.

• A282, from 8pm July 27 to 10am July 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm July 28 to 5am July 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm August 1 to 5.30am August 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, West Tunnel closure, carriageway and slip road closure for tunnel works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• A282, from 9.30pm August 3 to 5am August 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for contraflow works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10pm August 3 to 5am August 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound and southbound, Dartford Crossing, QEII Bridge closure for maintenance, diversion via East Tunnel (contraflow).

• A282, from 10pm August 4 to 5am August 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.
