Police are appealing for witnesses after a video has circulated of a fight on a London Overground train, believed to have been in the south London area.
The video appeared to show two men having a heated discussion on board an Overground train before one man was knocked to the floor.
The incident is believed to have taken place on board a London Overground train between Clapham Junction and Dalston Junction, near Denmark Hill Station.
Witnesses are being urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting the reference 237 of 21 July.
Information can also be reported anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police officers are appealing for the victims or any witnesses following an altercation on board a London Overground train to contact them.
“A video has circulated online showing two people in an altercation.
“It is believed this has taken place on the London Overground line between Clapham Junction and Dalston Junction and was believed to be near Denmark Hill Station.
“If you witnessed the incident or if it happened to you, please contact us and our officers will be able to help.
“Please contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 237 of 21 July.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
