A man has been treated by ambulance crews after becoming stuck in mud in Erith.
The incident happened in Manor Road near Anchor Bay Wharf just before 10.10am today (July 22).
Firefighters and London Ambulance Service attended and a man was rescued from the foreshore.
He was later treated at the scene by paramedics.
The incident was over for firefighters from Erith and Plumstead just after 12pm.
We have contacted London Ambulance Service for information on the man’s condition.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to assist the Coastguard with a person stuck in mud near Manor Road in Erith.
“One man was rescued from the foreshore using a mudpath and was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
“The Brigade was called at 1009 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1202.
“Crews from Erith and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.”
