A leisure centre in Dartford will be closing a large amount of its car park just as schools break up for the summer holidays.
Fairfield Leisure has announced that a number of the car parking spaces will be unavailable from July 22 until August 23.
The leisure centre, located on Lowfield Street, has a variety of facilities including a gym, sports halls, and a swimming pool.
In addition to regular fitness sessions, it hosts family fun events, aqua classes, and swimming clubs.
Despite the disruption to car parking, the centre encourages visitors to consider car sharing and alternative ways of transportation.
It also advises visitors to allow for extra travel time due to the anticipated disruptions.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “Please be advised that from Monday 22nd July until Friday 23rd August there will be improvement work taking place in our car park due to our decarbonisation project.
“Due to this, there will be disruption to a large number of our car parking spaces, where possible we would recommend car sharing, alternative ways of travel and allowing extra time to your journey.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.”
