Two people have been taken to hospital after a serious crash in Thamesmead.
London Ambulance Service was called at 8.47pm on Monday, July 15 to the crash at the junction of Eastern Way and the A2016.
Ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer were sent to the scene, alongside London’s Air Ambulance.
Two people were treated at the scene, and they were both taken to major trauma centres, with one being rushed to hospital as a priority.
We have approached the Metropolitan Police for more information.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.47pm on Monday 15 July to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Eastern Way and A2016, Thamesmead.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in six minutes.
“Our crews treated two patients at the scene, before taking them both to a London major trauma centre, one as a priority.”
