A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash on a busy road in Woolwich.
Ambulance crews were called to Stadium Road today (July 18) at around 2:13pm - including a fast response car and an incident response officer.
One man was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
The road has been closed both ways between Charlton Park Lane and Baker Road, and a detour is currently in place with multiple bus routes on diversion.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.13pm today (18 July) to reports of a road traffic collision on Stadium Road, Woolwich.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
