Charlton Athletic 1-3 Wolves
CHARLTON suffered their first home league defeat of the campaign when Championship leaders Wolves came from behind to secure three points at the Valley.
The hosts got off to a dream start when Nicky Bailey picked up a loose ball with less than three minutes played and unleashed a superb volley past Wayne Hennessey.
Wolves increased the pressure late on in the first half but Andy Keogh's short range rebound goal was ruled out for offside.
Ten minutes into the second half Luke Varney broke through but his low pass went just beyond Llyod Sam for a near certain second goal.
Five minutes later Wolves were awarded a controversial penalty after Bailey had fouled Keogh in the box and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake converted to level.
Charlton pushed to regain their lead but it was Wolves who went ahead through substitute Sam Vokes' back-heel volley.
And with three minutes remaining, the visitors sealed the win through Vokes' second, a close range header after Nicky Weaver had parried from Michael Kightly.
