The South Facing open-air concert series brings a diverse lineup of high-profile artists to the legendary Crystal Palace Bowl.
The event setup will begin on Friday, July 19, 2024, and conclude on Sunday, August 11, with de-rigging completed by Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Over the past two years, the South Facing stage has hosted unforgettable performances by London Grammar, The Streets, Jungle, Becky Hill, Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds, James, Richard Ashcroft, Max Richter, and the English National Opera.
This year, festival-goers can look forward to an exciting lineup featuring Grace Jones, Popcaan, The Roots, Jess Glynne, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, and The Originals.
Here are the upcoming South Facing festivals at Crystal Palace Bowl this summer:
Friday July 26 - Love Motion (feat. Grace Jones and Róisín Murphy)
Saturday July 27 - Future Islands
Sunday July 28 - Unruly Fest (feat. Popcaan)
Thursday August 1 - The Roots, De La Soul, The Pharcyde
Friday August 2 - CloudX Festival (Ghetts, Jaz Karis and many more)
Saturday August 3 - Major League DJz: Balcony Mix London
Sunday August 4 - Yussef Dayes presents: Summer Dayes
Friday August 5 - Jess Glynne, Cian Ducrot
Saturday August 10 - Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Steel Pulse, Kabaka Pyramid, Romain Virgo, Channel One Sound System
Sunday August 11 - The Originals
There will be temporary changes to access in the park during this time, including access to terraces, walking routes, and parking.
Maps that show the event perimeter, temporarily closed gates and paths, and alternative routes in the park will be displayed.
Crystal Palace Trust are working closely with South Facing Festival and other event organisers to ensure that the landscape and heritage assets are protected and maintained.
It is the responsibility of event promoters to restore the Park back to the same condition that it was in prior to the event, and at their own expense.
A thorough site assessment is completed before and after all events to ensure that the Park is restored to the same condition.
