Dartford drivers should be aware of 11 road closures on the National Highways network this month which could cause them delays.

According to the latest updates from National Highways, two ongoing closures will continue this week and more will come into place later this month.

One of these closures is expected to cause delays of 10 minutes to half an hour.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so smaller road closures are not included in their schedule.

Here is the full list of major closures:

• A282, from 10pm July 1 to 5.30am August 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A2, from 12.05am June 17 to 12.05am August 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound and westbound, Off network, temporary speed limit reduction from 50mph to 40mph. 24/7 for this period.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A13, from 10pm July 15 to 5am July 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A13 eastbound, junction Mardyke to junction A1012, Lane and Full carriageway closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• A282, from 10pm July 17 to 5.30am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25, junction 1A Roundabout, Lane closures for electrical works.

• A13, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30 roundabout and approaches, Lane closure for traffic signal replacement works.

• M25, from 11pm July 19 to 5am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closures for carriageway repairs.

• A282, from 8pm July 20 to 10am July 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm July 21 to 5am July 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A2, from 8pm July 22 to 6am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 both directions Bean to Tollgate, slip road and diversion for bridge works.

• A282, from 10pm July 27 to 5am July 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm July 28 to 5am July 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.
