The best streets to live on in the UK have been named and three of them are in London.

In a list created by the Daily Mail, they curated the list not on house prices but on what the street has to offer by contacting property experts.

Using property experts and visiting the streets themselves, the list highlights the roads with good wifi, transport services and pavement size to name a few of the key features analysed.

Among the list of 30, three of the streets happen to be in London, find out if you live on one of the UK's best streets.

The London streets named best to live on

The lucky three London streets named on the Daily Mail list are Elm Grove Road in Barnes, Bywater Street and Copse Hill in Wimbledon.

Starting with Elm Grove Road, the street has an average house price of £2,225,000 and is described as "a tree-lined road in the heart of Barnes village."

The road is set near a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars and the Mail shares that despite the homes being expensive the "residents seem to be a warm-hearted bunch."

Elm Grove Road is close to a "well-manicured tricked ground" with a local Whatsapp group helping to organise street parties.

Also in London that is named in the list is Bywater Street where a home costs you £2,250,000 on average.

Another "tree-lined cul-de-sac", the road is just off Chelsea's Kings Road and is picture-perfect with "pastel-coloured Georgian houses" that give the street an "injection of fun".

A home on Bywater Street was even used as the home of MI6 agent George Smiley in the 2011 film, Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy.

Many residents on the street have owned their homes for several decades, and with a strong community, it's not surprising that the street is very sought after.
