A free festival where you can listen to jazz music and explore food inspired by New Orleans is coming to Greenwich this weekend.

Returning to Greenwich Peninsula this Sunday (July 20), Rhythm & Taste: Jazz & Food Festival is a popular free festival celebrating the best of jazz music and food inspired by the birthplace of the genre.

Located in Greenwich’s Design District, a short walk from nearby attractions like the O2 and IFS Cloud Cable Car, visitors to this event will be able to listen to a host of acts from 12pm up until 7pm.

The event will feature a line-up of acts including DJ Tina Edwards, Marla Kether, Jamie Leeming, Naia, Pyjaen and Babel Brass.

Music enthusiasts will also be able to shop from a huge range of records and vinyls by local business Peckham Soul, where there will also be a listening station if you fancy a boogie.

Foodies can also try a range of New Orleans inspired dishes hosted by Burea, ranging from sweetcorn fritters with blue cheese and chive dressing and jambalaya hot dogs to a cherry rum punch.

For £35, wine enthusiasts can join a wine tasting experience hosted by Wineyard London lasting for 90 minutes, with a selection of four wines and snacks.

Alongside food and music, there will also be a host of workshops and events, like drumming workshops and talks from artists and musicians, for anyone interested in learning something new.

Tickets to the festival are free and bookable online, with a limited number of tickets remaining.
