Do you love wine and are looking for love? You might find your perfect match at a special wine tasting singles' night.

On Thursday, July 25, at 7.30 PM, Le Bar a Vin is hosting Perfectly Paired - an exclusive singles' night combining the art of wine tasting with the joy of mingling.

This unique event promises an evening filled with delightful wines, engaging activities, and the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals.

Guests can indulge in a carefully curated selection of two whites, two reds, a rosé, and a sparkling wine, all chosen by sommelier Callum.

The evening begins with a complimentary welcome drink, followed by icebreaker activities and fascinating wine insights that encourage conversation and create an environment ripe for connection.

Designed for singles aged 35 and over, the event aims to foster meaningful interactions in a sophisticated and relaxed setting.

Throughout the night, attendees will have the opportunity to jot down notes about those who catch their eye.

Simply hand these notes to the team at Le Bar a Vin, and the following day, they will exchange details of mutual matches, eliminating any awkwardness and leaving only the anticipation of a potential new romance.

Adding to the excitement, attendees can participate in a competition for a chance to win a bottle of champagne.

Tickets for this exclusive event are priced at £40 per person and you must book in advance.

Le Bar a Vin, located at 72 Tranquil Vale, is more than just a wine bar; it is a venue steeped in history.

Blackheath was a pivotal area for the women's suffrage movement in the late 19th century, with 72 Tranquil Vale serving as a meeting place for Emily Pankhurst and the National Union of Women’s Suffrage Societies.

Today, Le Bar a Vin, owned by Claire Gannon-Ballard, celebrates this rich history while offering a haven for wine enthusiasts.

With over 100 different wines available by the glass, carafe, or bottle, the bar combines historical charm with a contemporary passion for wine.

The brick walls and rustic ambience create a cosy atmosphere perfect for unwinding.

Claire previously told the News Shopper: “Customers love the local buzz I think. We have real regular customers that come most weekends.

"The bar is cosy and intimate in the colder months and super chic in the summer with all the fully opened windows and outdoor seating.

"We add new wines to the menu every few months to keep things refreshed. We changed our cheese to suit each season.”

Juggling the responsibilities of being a wife and mum-of-three, Claire manages the wine bar with a small group of dedicated staff.

Join Le Bar a Vin for Perfectly Paired and potentially find both a new favorite wine and a new romance in one enchanting evening.
