I visited Phantom Peak, a fully immersive, interactive experience that combines elements of escape rooms, live theatre, and video games.

Located in the heart of Canada Water, Phantom Peak transports you to a vibrant town filled with quirky characters, intriguing quests, and endless adventures.

Each visit promises a new story as the town evolves with changing seasons, keeping the experience fresh and exciting for both newcomers and returning visitors.

This summer, Phantom Peak unveiled its Starlit Summer Sessions, embracing a sort of summer camp theme that brought a fresh twist to the town’s adventures.

Upon entry, you're handed a wristband to tell you which team you are on. I joined the Abs Assemble team, and though we embarked on quests individually, we collectively worked to fill a central funnel with our tokens.

The mini-games and relay races, reminiscent of a playful sports day, were perfect icebreakers, encouraging interaction with fellow adventurers.

The feeling of camaraderie as we worked together to complete tasks and fill our team's funnel was immensely satisfying.

The actors, embodying their roles with enthusiasm and wit, made each interaction memorable and often hilarious.

Their commitment to their characters kept the experience lively and engaging.

One of the standout activities was "Hook a Platypus," a quirky and fun game that had everyone laughing. My friend Tash, surprisingly adept at these games, brought a competitive edge to our adventures.

The egg and spoon race was another highlight, blending classic fun with the unique Phantom Peak twist.

The main quests ranged from solving intriguing puzzles to uncovering hidden stories about the town.

One quest involving diet drinks was particularly fascinating and odd, blending humour with a touch of mystery.

The entire experience is guided through your phone, leading you to interact with characters, solve puzzles, and search for hints.

At one point, we found ourselves looking for a clue in the virtual menu of a food order section, seamlessly integrating the game into every aspect of the town.

Phantom Peak's clever blend of humour and immersive storytelling makes it a unique adventure.

Letting go of your inhibitions and fully immersing yourself is key to getting the most out of it.

The cocktails were also such a treat. Enjoying a themed drink while exploring the town added to the immersive experience.

The town offers countless photo opportunities and interactions with the townsfolk, making it feel alive and vibrant.

At the end of each quest, you're rewarded with a keepsake card, a memento of your adventure.

Since its creation in 2022, Phantom Peak has expanded, introducing new equipment and areas to explore and in my opinion has been upping its game every single new season.

Each visit I have had Phantom Peak has been consistently enjoyable and the experience is always well-rounded and entertaining.

A special touch this time round was Phantom Peak streaming the men's semi-final football match. It was a considerate gesture that allowed sports fans to catch the scores without missing out on the fun.

Phantom Peak's blend of escape room challenges, theatrical performances, and real-life video game elements creates an experience unlike any other.

Each visit unveils new layers of the town's rich tapestry, making it a place worth returning to again and again.
