Love Island's dramatic recoupling sent shockwaves through the villa when two Beckenham islanders, Matilda and Diamante, clashed in a confrontation.
Thursday's episode had viewers eagerly anticipating the outcome as they awaited to see if the original islanders would remain with their current partners or choose to recouple with one of the new bombshells from Casa Amor.
With Maya Jama returning to the villa, the girls came back from Casa Amor to see if their men had remained loyal.
Matilda was relieved to return from Casa Amor alone and find her partner Sean waiting solo as well.
Prior to Matilda’s return, Sean said: “I have really enjoyed my time in Casa getting to know you girls.
“I have made a couple of good connections with certain individuals.
“My decision has been very difficult – this time in casa has given me clarity on what I want and who I want to be with.
“So, I have decided to stick with Matilda.”
Tensions soon escalated when bombshell Diamante, who had grown close to Sean, began to speak out.
Speaking to Maya on the episode, Diamante said: “It’s a bit weird that you can tell someone they’re your priority and this is how you treat your priority”.
“You’re not sat here”, Matilda responded.
A few moments later, Diamante added: “I definitely thought we had a spark; you don’t really kiss someone in bed you don’t have a spark with.”
“I don’t think Sean is as ‘sweet’ as I thought he was”.
Matilda added: “It doesn’t change anything for me.
“Casa is Casa, it’s part of the parcel, obviously they weren’t special enough to be sat here”.
