With a majority in Beckenham and Penge, Labour Party member Liam Conlon will now serve as the constituency's MP.
His victory comes after a night of volunteers counting ballots as part of the 2024 UK General Election.
The total turnout for this election in Beckenham and Penge was 46,971 number of votes, and Mr Conlon received 25,753 votes.
Mr Conlon said: “I am delighted that this new constituency has voted Labour.
“Change is worth fighting for.”
Volunteers began counting the votes at 10pm yesterday (Thursday, July 4) when the polls closed.
Beckenham and Penge is a new constituency after the Beckenham constituency and the Lewisham West and Penge constituency were abolished.
Historically, voters across Beckenham have favoured the Conservative Party while voters across Penge have favoured the Labour Party.
An MP from the Conservative Party has been elected in Beckenham since 1950.
An MP from the Labour Party has been elected in Lewisham West and Penge since 2010.
In the 2019 General Election, Bob Stewart represented the Conservative Party in Beckenham and won by 54 per cent.
