Bromley Council has announced road closures for the Crystal Palace Park Events this week.

Events include the Crystal Palace Youth Concert (July 4), The National (July 5), Big Smoke Festival (July 6), and 20 years of Bloc Party (July 6).

The following roads will be closed to through traffic from 8am to midnight on the dates above:

Old Cople Lane, Crystal Palace

St Aubyn’s Road, Crystal Palace (with agreement from LB Croydon)

Milestone Road, Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Park Access Road, at junction with Anerley Hill

Cintra Park, Crystal Palace

Ledrington Road, Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Station Road (full closure outside the station)

Playdell Avenue, Crystal Palace

Palace Road, Crystal Palace

Brunel Place, Crystal Palace

Anerley Vale

Haddow Place, Crystal Palace

Waldegrave Road, Crystal Palace

Palace Mews, Crystal Palace

Hamlet Road, Crystal Palace

Thicket Road (at the junction with Anerley Road)

Melrose Road

Melbourne Court

Madeline Road

Anerley Park

Penge West Station Access (full closure of the access road that serves Penge West Station)

William Booth Road

Ridsdale Road

These closures are necessary to facilitate the events in Crystal Palace Park.

The following roads will face traffic changes this week:

Belvedere Road: One-way eastbound from Tudor Road to Mowbray Road.

No right turns from Cintra Park, Chipstead Close, Anerley Grove, Waldegrave Road, Hamlet Road, Belvedere Crescent, and MacAuley Road onto Belvedere Road.

No left turns from Aukland Road and Belvedere Road at their junctions with Belvedere Road.

Maberley Road: One-way southbound from Belvedere Road to Mowbray Road.

No entry from Mowbray Road into Maberley Road.

Jasper Road Area: No right turns from the south to north side of Jasper Road into the north-west to south-east side of Jasper Road.

No left turns from Westwood Hill into Jasper Road.

No left or right turns from Farquhar Road into the northern arm of Jasper Road.

Waiting and Loading Restrictions: No waiting or loading on Farquhar Road between 20 meters north of Jasper Road’s northern arm and 20 meters south-west of Jasper Road’s southern arm.

One-Way Traffic System: One-way on Jasper Road from the southwestern kerb-line of the southern arm to the northern kerb-line of the northern arm of Farquhar Road, in a south westerly direction.

Signs will indicate the restrictions and pedestrian access to properties will be maintained.

Emergency access routes will be maintained.

Police and traffic warden directions must be followed.
