The QEII Bridge was closed last night after concerns for the welfare of a man.
Police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man on the QEII bridge at 8.30pm last night (June 25).
Emergency services attended and helped with the man concerned.
The QEII Bridge was closed to traffic while this took place.
The man was brought to safety by 8.55pm and left in the care of the ambulance service.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man on the QEII bridge, at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 25 June.
“Officers attended alongside Highways and ambulance service colleagues and engaged with the man concerned.
“The bridge was closed to traffic while this work took place.
“The man was brought to safety by 8.55pm and left in the care of the ambulance service.
“We would thank the public for their patience and understanding while this incident was dealt with.”
