Two people have been charged after police allegedly found a knife and a pickaxe after stopping an Audi in a Woolwich bus lane.
Police claim that on Friday, June 21, a car was speeding in the bus lane and so stopped the vehicle.
A suspect was arrested after police found a knife and a male was detained after police found a pickaxe.
Both have been charged and remanded in custody.
Greenwich MPS tweeted: “On June 21, the Integrated Team stopped a speeding Audi in a bus lane.
“A passengers was found with a knife and arrested.
“Another male with a pickaxe was also detained.
“Both were charged and remanded.
“Keeping Woolwich safer.”
