Stations in Sydenham and Beckenham have been plagued by a series of defibrillator thefts.
Since January four defibrillators have been stolen from New Beckenham and Lower Sydenham stations.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers have now released a CCTV image of a man who may have information that could help with their investigation.
At around 8pm last Monday (June 17) a 999 call was made at New Beckenham station by someone claiming the station defibrillator was needed for an emergency.
When the code for the defibrillator cabinet was provided the defibrillator was stolen.
A similar incident happened at the same station on February 7, and at Lower Sydenham station on January 29 and Thursday (June 20).
If you recognise him, text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 230 of 18 June.
Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
