A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after an assault in Welling.
The incident happened in Bellegrove Road just after 10.20pm yesterday (June 20).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man with an injury to his head.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to a south London hospital where his condition is unknown.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 22:23hrs on Thursday, 20 June by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to reports of an assault in Bellegrove Road, Welling.
“Officers attended and found a man with a head injury. LAS provided medical assistance and the man was taken to a south London hospital.
“No arrests have been made.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.15pm on Thursday 20 June to reports of an incident on Bellegrove Road, Welling.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car.
“Our first paramedic arrived on scene in less than two minutes.
“Our crews treated a patient at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”
