One of the latest bombshells to enter the Love Island villa is Matilda, a recruitment consultant from Beckenham.

The 24-year-old appeared on ITV screens in last night’s episode (Wednesday, June 19).

She made a splash when she screamed “Ronnie boy” and pointed to Ronnie, who she knows from life before Love Island.

Ronnie quickly recognised her and told the other islanders that one of his friends was seeing her for months at one point.

Matilda was then given the chance to choose three boys to go one dates with – one would cook her a starter, one a main course and one a dessert.

She chose Omar, Sean and Will to cook for her so that she can get to know them better.

However, Matilda is not the only south east Londoner to appear in the 2024 Love Island cast.

In the show’s starting lineup was Patsy from Orpington.

The 29-year-old was brutally dumped on June 3 after ten days in the Love Island villa.

Her elimination came after the public voted for their favourite couples and she fell in the bottom three with partner Munveer.

This led to the boys being asked to vote for the girl they wanted to dump from the villa, and the girls voting for the boy they wanted to dump from the villa.

Patsy was the boys' choice, and she had to pack her suitcase and say her goodbyes.

Upon going into Love Island, the Office Administrator shared that she has a disability called Erb’s Palsy.

She said “I’ve got something very special about me which is my disability, it’s a condition I was born with called Erb’s Palsy.

“It doesn’t define who I am, but it makes me a little different, although I’ve learnt to get on with it and it’s never held me back.”

The condition is a paralysis of the arm caused by injury to the upper group of the arm’s main nerves resulting from a difficult birth.

Love Island airs on Sunday – Friday at 9pm on ITV.
