After a long night enjoying a football match or seeing a global pop star on stage at Wembley Stadium, there's nothing better than heading home and taking it all in while relaxing.
But with a 90,000-person capacity, leaving Wembley can often take some time, with many heading to the same tube station, queues can last upwards of an hour.
While staff at Wembley always have Olympic Way well signed and are very helpful with directions, sometimes you want to find a way to avoid the queues.
Although the best way to avoid any queue is to leave the event a tad earlier, you might not always want to miss the last few minutes.
So to help you out, here are some ways you can avoid the long queues at Wembley Stadium and get home quickly and swiftly.
How to get home from Wembley quickly
Wembley Stadium has two tube stations nearby which operate three lines, these stations and lines are:
- Wembley Park - operating the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines
- Wembley Central - Bakerloo and London Overground
The majority of guests will be heading to Wembley Park, which means you follow the long route of Olympic Way that heads straight from the stadium's main entrance.
Those aiming for Wembley Central should cross the White Horse Bridge that is south west of the venue.
If you need to use the Chiltern Railway, aim for Wembley Stadium station which is also on the south west side.
