Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this Father's Day weekend due to planned engineering work.

The work will impact trains on both Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16.

Amended service between London Charing Cross to Ramsgate via Dover Priory (Saturday, June 15)

Engineering work is taking place between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate, closing some lines.

The 11.04pm London Charing Cross to Ramsgate via Dover Priory will be replaced by an accessible bus between Dover Priory and Ramsgate, calling at all stations.

No service between Charlton and Blackheath (From Saturday, June 1 to Sunday, August 11)

Engineering work is taking place between Charlton and Blackheath, closing the lines for 10 weeks.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Dartford via Blackheath and Charlton will instead run via Greenwich, calling additionally at Westcombe Park, Maze Hill, Greenwich, and Deptford.

You can use the following alternative routes at no extra cost:

London Bus routes 89, 54, 380, 202 & SL3.

Docklands Light Railway between Greenwich and Lewisham.

Thameslink services between London Bridge and Dartford via Woolwich.

No trains via Swanley (Sunday, June 16)

Engineering work is taking place between Bickley and Rochester, closing some lines.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Bromley South and Meopham (calling at all stations except Bickley)
  • Meopham and Strood (non stop)
  • Bromley South and Borough Green & Wrotham (calling at St Mary Cray, Swanley and Otford)
  • Meopham and Sole Street (minibus shuttle)

Sole Street Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will be diverted to run non stop between London Victoria and Strood.

At Faversham a portion of the train will be detached to run between Faversham and Dover Priory.

Stopping services between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Denmark Hill will not run.

Maidstone East Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will only run between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International.

Additional trains will run between London Victoria and Bromley South via Denmark Hill.

Ticket acceptance:

Passengers can use Thameslink trains between London Blackfriars and Bromley South at no extra cost, and Thameslink buses between Bromley South and Sevenoaks via Otford.

Buses replace trains between Ebbsfleet International/Ashford International and Canterbury West (Sunday, June 16)

Engineering work is taking place near Ashford International, closing some lines.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International
  • Ashford International and Canterbury West (non stop)
  • Ashford International and Canterbury West (calling at all stations)

High Speed services via Ashford International:

Trains between London St Pancras International and Margate will not run.

Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover will only run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International.

A reduced service will run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International.

Additional trains will run between Canterbury West and Margate.

Paddock Wood Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Canterbury West will only run between London Charing Cross and Ashford International.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory will be extended to run to / from Ramsgate via Sandwich.
