A 19-year-old man has been arrested after an emergency worker was reportedly assaulted in Dartford.
Concerns for the welfare of a man were raised at a home in Burroughs Drive shortly after 10.30pm yesterday (June 12).
Officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews attended.
A property was found alight and it was extinguished by fire crews shortly after.
The man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
He remains in custody as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called following concern for a man at a property in Burroughs Drive, Dartford shortly after 10.30pm on Wednesday 12 June 2024.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and a small fire at the property was extinguished.
“A 19-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and he remains in custody while enquiries into the incident continue.”
