A McDonald's in Bromley has reopened after a major refurbishment.
McDonald's Garden Gate in Downham, was shut for more than two months for a restaurant redesign.
The branch in Old Bromley Road now boasts an all-new layout aimed to enhance customer experience.
The overhaul is part of the 'Convenience of the Future' redesign being rolled out by McDonald's, aiming to combine new restaurant layouts with the latest technology for a more seamless customer experience.
The Downham restaurant, one of the first in the region to kick off the project, is run by local franchisee Bill Perera, who owns and operates a total of nine McDonald's restaurants in Bromley and Bexley.
The changes involve a complete redesign of both the crew and dining rooms, as well as the integration of more tech solutions.
Mr Perera said: "I’m excited to reinvest in our Garden Gate restaurant - especially as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK this year.
"The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers, leading to a better experience for everyone.
"The changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff, as they will help make their jobs a little easier."
He added: "I’m proud that the reinvestment has created 30 new job roles for our local community."
The upgrades are in response to increased customer demand for speed and efficiency when ordering food.
Customers will now find dedicated areas for different ordering methods as well as the removal of front counters, providing more space for dining.
The restaurant will keep its traditional walk-in and Drive-Thru ordering methods, while incorporating digital sales channels and the McDonald's App more, promising a better dine-in experience.
McDonald's Garden Gate, Old Bromley Road, is open from 6am until 11pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
