A man has been jailed after stealing a bag full of chicken and mince from a Co-Op store in Welling.
Two alleged shoplifters were arrested after they were seen leaving a Co-Op store with a bag full of chicken and mince.
Both people were subsequently charged with one remanded and the other awaiting a court date.
On Saturday (June 8), the Metropolitan Police Service in Welling released a tweet stating that John Piro, 48, was convicted at court for the offence.
He has been sentenced to four weeks in prison for several shoplifting offences at Co-Op stores.
