Three leisure centres in Bexley have installed new gym equipment worth a combined total of £250,000.
Crook Log Leisure Centre, Sidcup Leisure Centre, and Erith Leisure Centre have each unveiled new cardio kit in their gym areas and exercise studios worth £100,000, £60,000, and £90,000, respectively.
Supplied by Life Fitness UK, the new equipment includes cross trainers, upright bikes, ICG group exercise bikes, and treadmills.
The investment shows the centres' commitment to providing sustainable, easy-to-access, top-quality services that are guided by customer needs.
Lee Clark, said: "We’re always looking to give back to our members in Bexley, and we’re so happy with the results of the investment.
"The upgrades have all received fantastic feedback from customers so far!"
Sidcup Leisure Centre announced their £60,000 gym upgrade via a Facebook post, saying: "The investment follows on from our £200k full gym refurbishment in 2022 and is part of our promise to continue to provide our customers with the best possible experience, equipment, technology, and to enhance the health and wellbeing of our community."
Also taking to social media, Crook Log Leisure Centre said: "We are pleased to announce our 100k gym equipment upgrade is now complete.
"We hope you enjoy the new kit as much as we do."
All three centres are owned by Lex Leisure, and each have a gym, pool and group exercise classes, with both Sidcup and Erith Leisure Centres also having a sports hall.
