All train services at a busy station in London have stopped due to an incident, causing up to three-hour delays.

National Rail confirmed on X (formally known as Twitter) that all services have been disrupted due to a trespasser on the line.

The railway service initially confirmed all trains were disrupted until 11.30am, but this has now been extended to 1pm.

It added that emergency services and Network Rail responders are attending to make sure the person is removed.

All trains running to and from London Victoria may be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Trains to and from the station are being diverted to London Blackfriars and London Cannon Street.

Commuters have been urged to check before they travel and to find alternative routes where possible.

We have contacted British Transport Police for further information.
