A man reportedly pointed a gun at police after a fight involving a knife in Catford.
Police were called to Brownhill Road in Catford on May 27 at around 3:15pm where officers found a group of men fighting, with one carrying a knife.
The group, upon seeing police, fled towards Bowness Road and officers ran after them.
Police say one man in the group “pointed a gun” towards officers before leaving the scene.
The weapon was later found discarded and the suspect is believed to be between 18 and 20-years-old.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and are currently searching nearby CCTV footage.
