The victim of a stabbing in Charlton remains in critical condition three days after the incident.
Police were called to a residential address in Kashmir Road at around 9am on Saturday, May 25.
Emergency services went to the scene and a man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital.
Police have confirmed that his condition remains critical.
Marcus Miskin, 23, was charged with attempted murder yesterday (Monday, May 28).
He will appear in custody today (Tuesday, May 28) at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
Both men were known to each other.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly before 09:00hrs on Saturday, 25 May, to a man stabbed at a residential address in Kashmir Road, SE7.
“Officers attended along with LAS.
“A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital.
“His condition has been assessed as critical.
“An investigation was launched and a 23-year-old man was arrested.
“On Monday, 27 May, Marcus Miskin, 23, (8/11/00) was charged with attempted murder.
“He will appear in custody on Tuesday, 28 May, at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
“Both men are known to each other.
“At this stage, nobody else is sought in connection with the incident.”
