A man is in critical condition after being stabbed in Charlton.
Police were called to Kashmir Road at around 9am this morning (Saturday, May 25) to reports of a stabbing.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as critical but stable.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 2087/25MAY24.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called shortly before 09:00hrs on Saturday, 25 May, to a man stabbed in Kashmir Road, SE7.
“Officers attended along with LAS.
“A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital.
"His condition has been assessed as critical but stable.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. There has been no arrest.
“Local people will see additional officers in the area.
“Any witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 2087/25MAY24.
