A total of 10 busy streets in Bromley could be shut for 18 months from today (May 28) for water works.
Thames Water will be completing essential repair and maintenance works with no specified finish date.
The order will have a maximum duration of 18 months and will begin on or after the commencement date.
The Bromley roads affected by the works are:
1. Avondale Road, Bromley
2. Cudham Lane North, Cudham
3. Cudham Lane South, Cudham
4. Foxbury Road, Bromley
5. Friar Road, St Mary Cray
6. Goddington Lane, Orpington
7. Kent House Lane, Beckenham
8. Ravensbourne Avenue, Bromley
9. Southill Road, Chislehurst
10. Widmore Lodge Road, Bickley
Until the works are completed, no one is allowed to drive or park any vehicle on the streets listed or on any nearby streets if needed.
Any vehicle parked in violation of these restrictions may be towed away according to the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986 or by the council's authority.
Access to properties will be maintained at all times while the parking restriction is in place and as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate.
Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
Nothing in the order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden.
